DIAMOND COLLAGE FRAME

For this tutorial you will need PSP 8. You can get a trial copy here. You
will also need the Simple Filter. Get it here.
And Virtual Painter. Get a free trial

of Virtual painter's filters are included in your copy of PSP 8 if you have the
mailed version and not the downloaded version. Ready,
ok lets begin. ******************************************************** 1.
Open a graphic of your choice. Duplicate it twice. (Shift +D).
Close original and minimize one of the copies. 2.
Got to Images/Add Borders/symmetric/3 pixels. Be sure your border color is
white. 3. Select border/
Effects/texture/sculpture/silver/ok
Keep selected until told otherwise. 4. Selections/Invert 5.
Effects/cutout/ Use the following settings. H& V
= 2 Opacity = 50 Blur = 5 Shadow
color = Black 5. Effects/Cutout The
same settings as above except H & V = -2 (minus two) Deselect 6.
Images/Add Borders/symmetric/5/color white 7. Select
border/Effects/texture/sculpture/gold/ok Keep selected
until told otherwise. 8. Selections/Invert 9.
Effects/cutout/ Use the following settings. H& V
= 2 Opacity = 50 Blur = 5 Shadow
color = Black 10. Effects/Cutout The
same settings as above except H & V = -2 (minus two) Deselect. 11.
Images/add borders/symmetric/10 pixels/color white 12.
Open minimized picture 13. Select border/flood fill
using copy of picture. Keep selected until told otherwise 14. Apply Virtual
Painter/Collage 15. Apply Simple Filter/center Tile 16.
Apply Simple Filter/diamond 17.
Effects/cutout/ Use the following settings. H& V
= 2 Opacity = 50 Blur = 5 Shadow
color = Black 18. Effects/Cutout The
same settings as above except H & V = -2 (minus two) Deselect. 19.
Repeat steps 2 -10. Save in your favorite folder. If
