ANIMATED STAIN GLASS
(or I can't make up my mind what color I like)

This  tutorial will combine both a stain glass tutorial using PSP 7 and Blade Pro and will finish by animating the final result with Animation Shop 3.  You will need the following:  Tulip Pattern, glass samples, beaded gold preset.  You can download the supplies by clicking here.

Step 1.  Open PSP 7 and load your pattern into the workspace.

Step 2.Using your Magic Wand click on  each section of the pattern while holding the shift key down.  This will allow you to select all sections.  Click on selections/invert.  This will select the lines.   If any lines are not closed then use your paintbrush set at 1 pixel and color black to fill in  to a solid line.

Step3:  Click on Effects/Plug In Filters/BladePro/beadedgold.q9q

Step 4:  Load the glass samples onto your workspace.  Click on  styles/textures to choose glass sample.

These are the colors I used. The  full size glass is included in the kit above.

Step 5:  Using your Magic Wand click on each section(s) of the pattern you wish to fill with the same color.  Fill section using your fill tool.  Continue on all sections are filled.

Tip:  To give sections of the same color a slightly different appearance I changed the angle settings in the texture box.

Step 6:  Continue in this manner until you have the color scheme you want.

Save your work as tulip.psp if you are continuing on to the animation part of this tutorial.  Otherwise save in method of your choice.
